- Description
- Carell’s Model HPK 100 is a 3 driving rolls, double initial pinch universal roll bending machine with hydraulic powered rotation and independent hydraulic powered adjustment of both lateral bending rolls. Lateral guides are adjustable in all three planes. This versatile unit is ideal for rolling standard/special sections plus tube/pipe in mild-structural-stainless steels and a variety of other materials. The angle bending capacity is: leg out 4” x ½”, leg-in 3½” x 3/8”, with standard equipment.
- Machines are equipped with a set of universal rolls suitable for bending standard sections including angle iron leg-in and leg-out. These rolls bend flat bar (on flat and on edge), square bar, tees, channel as well as round bar, angles, square and rectangular tube sections.
- Features
- Rugged, rigid, one piece solid steel weldment frame, normalized and precision machined, ample sized access panels and ventilation for internal hydraulic unit
- Larger, high strength steel shafts, heat treated and ground, journaled in dual self-aligning spherical roller bearings for optimum performance, loading and efficiency
- Independent hydraulic adjustment of both lower rolls for double pre-bending
- All 3 rolls driven by hydraulic motor/planetary reducer group with final gear drive top shaft protected by speed compensation clutch, hydraulic unit integral to the machine and protected by maximum pressure relief valves and return lines. Roll rotation via pushbutton from the control console
- Hydraulic power unit integral to the machine frame, well ventilated and protected from overload by maximum pressure relief valves and thermal pump motor switchgear with reset control. Solenoid valve bank situated for easy access, coils equipped with LED illumination indicating its activation
- Multi axis, 6 way, fully adjustable lateral guides, powered in all three directions: (radial, axial thrust, and linear up/down movements) for bending angle iron leg-in and leg-out. Positions readable on graduated scales for precise repeat positioning. Cam follower roller can be positioned at different locations along the cylindrical support roller
- Variable speed rotation on “V” version via digitally driven valves for precision pre-bending and maximum efficiency during general bending or pass through of unbent material
- Universal bending rolls with modular components, hardened and wear resistant. Use of components in various configurations permits bending of most all-standard section types including angle iron leg-in and leg-out. Main components, telescoping, allow swift throat width changes for maximizing production. Shaft single keyed for easy tooling changeover
- Forced lubrication system providing full security under harsh working conditions all internal moving components have individual zerk fittings
- Machine operates in both horizontal and vertical positions per your needs
- Mobile control console equipped with pushbuttons for roll positions, dual LED digital readouts to monitor bending roll positions, dual foot pedals for left/right rotation, power on, hydraulic unit on and E-Stop switch for maximum operator safety. Controls in low voltage 24 VAC
- Operating and maintenance tool kit, instruction manual provided
