- If you want a little more capacity than the BS-20SA-DM, but want to keep all the great features? Enter the BS-24SA-DM. Baileigh Industrial took many of the ideas that were already in place with the BS-20 series band saws and applied them to the BS-24 series.
- The BS-24SA-DM is a dual mitering semi automatic bandsaw with the capability to miter 60 degrees left and right with its swivel head. But even though it can miter both ways capacity was not sacrificed. The BS-24SA-DM can cut a full 18" round at 90 degrees and has a 15" x 24" rectangle capacity as well.
- The 220 Volt three phase BS-24SA-DM requires a 1-1/2" band saw blade, making it very accurate and fast cutting. The BS-24SA-DM is also variable speed allowing for infinite blade speed adjustments for 106 to 317 feet per minute. This allows the user to fine tune the proper speed for different materials like mild steel, bronze or aluminum.
- The hydraulic descent pressure can be adjusted by the operator achieving faster cut times and longer blade life, depending on what material the operator is cutting. The return position of the metal cutting head can be altered to achieve faster cycle times between cuts, when cutting smaller dimensioned pieces.
